Hirvonen: “Making up for lost points”

The last two rallies have been very difficult for the official Ford team. Fourth in Mexico, 20th in Jordan, Mikko Hirvonen is now 31 points behind leader Sébastien Loeb. The Finn is counting on the Turkish round this weekend to recover his health.

“I like the new rallies, says the 2009 world vice-champion. It's a new challenge, both in the special stages and during the reconnaissance. I have good results in the new championship events. Last year, I won in Poland and Australia. The year before, I won in Norway and Jordan. I don't know what the cause is but I would be happy to chase this record in Turkey. I made a stupid mistake in Jordan and I have to make up for the lost points. »

Let's wish Mikko Hirvonen a success this weekend in Turkey, it's in the interest of the World Rally Championship.
