How did you approach this very special event?

I completely immersed myself in the preparation. I couldn't allow myself to be overcome by emotions or memories. I didn't feel anything special. I got it into my head that it was far from over. It was impossible to face such a battle without being 100% focused. Otherwise, it would be better to stay at home! It would not have worked for us to tackle this enormous issue as a dilettante. It was cool to show up at the start with the same determination, the same stress!

How do you feel after this victory and this 8th title?

(Crying, but with a smile) There are a lot of emotions. With Seb, we discussed this rally with the same state of mind: work hard and be serious. I was in my bubble so that nothing could deprive us of winning the championship. Once I crossed the finish line, I couldn't stop crying. I was so happy to be with Seb and to say to myself “wow, the 15 years we spent, in a lifetime, it’s just crazy”. It's an immense joy and I wanted to end my career with these emotions. There is also a lot of pride and very positive things... Even if it's difficult to understand that it is when you have tears in your eyes!

Sébastien says he will miss you. What do you remember from these 15 years?

Over the past 15 years, we have done excellent work. Since our very first meeting and our first note-taking. There was the first podium, the first victory… Some moments were not easy. We have always worked very hard and we never forget that our goal was to reach the top. Once I reached it, it was even more difficult to stay there. Mission accomplished !
