Sardinia finally on the calendar?
The governing bodies of ACI Sassari, through the voice of its president Giulio Pes, indicated this Monday that the Rally of Sardinia could finally take place on the Italian island in October and therefore integrate the future version of the calendar of WRC, widely revised in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.
Ready to move the test before its official postponement pronounced at the end of March, trans sports authoritiesalpines have therefore received the necessary guarantees to allow the event to be held on a date that remains to be defined. The Rally Italy-Sardinia was to take place as usual in June.
All that remains is to wait for confirmation from the FIA, knowing that a World Motor Sport Council is due to take place this Friday.
