Citroën's departure from the WRC on the front page of AUTOhebdo n°2244

Available this evening in digital version, and from this Wednesday on newsstands, n°2244 of AUTOhebdo returns in particular to the announcement which acted as a hammer blow last week.

As the brand indicated in a brief press release, following the departure of its pilot Sébastien Ogier, Citroën Racing formalized the end of its program WRC avec effet immédiat, laissant le peloton du Championnat du Monde seulement représenté par Hyundai, Toyota et M-Sport Ford.

What causes? What consequences with, according to our information, the very probable announcement of Ogier at Toyota this Wednesday? We decipher this sudden decision from the French manufacturer, one of the most successful in the discipline alongside Lancia and Ford.

At the helm of a Scuderia Ferrari boasting a duo of drivers displaying real tension on the track for several weeks, Mattia Binotto, head of Sports Management of Maranello, takes stock of a campaign where the Reds were unable to compete over time with Mercedes.

CARhebdo was able to dive into the heart of the final of the FEED Racing selection on the Nivernais circuit of Magny-Cours, an operation promoted by Patrick Lemarié and Jacques Villeneuve.

We also take you to the paddock of the Fuji Dream Race, bringing together the Super GT and DTM for a second meeting in 2019 after the one organized during the final of the German championship in Hockenheim last October.

It should be noted : a major maintenance operation on hommell-magazines.com will take place Wednesday November 27 at 12 p.m. until Monday morning December 2. The store but also online reading will be inaccessible. We advise you to read or download number 2244 in the Hommell application library before Wednesday midi and not to “disconnect” yourself completely from it. Which will still allow you to read the magazine during the break.
