Mexican shakedown for Elfyn Evans

In a necessarily particular context as recalled Sébastien Ogier at the end of its first passage in the shakedown of Rally from Mexico, with the coronavirus pandemic raging, it is Eflyn Evans (Toyota) qui s’est montré le plus rapide au volant de sa Yaris WRC in 3'41″8.

The co-leader of the general classification after his success in Sweden precedes the other co-leader by six tenths Thierry Neuville (Hyundai), avec une i20 Coupe présentant des évolutions aéro, Sébastien Ogier placing the second Toyota Yaris at 0″7 ahead of the 3rd Japanese car entrusted to Kalle Rovanperä, clocked at 1″2.

Behind Ott Tänak 5e, Dani Sordo retrouve le Mondial ce week-end et place sa i20 Coupe WRC en 6e position à 2″6 devant les Ford Fiesta – M-Sport Ford de Teemu Suninen, Esapekka Lappi et Gus Greensmith.

Oliver Solberg places his Volkswagen Polo R5 provisionally in the lead in RC2 ahead of Pontus Tidemand (Skoda Fabia R5).
