WRC 2, preferred track for Mikkelsen for Monza

Le Rally of Ypres canceled, one of the chances to see Andreas Mikkelsen back in competition WRC had soared in recent weeks. It was therefore at the continental level that the Norwegian was able to rediscover the sensations of racing, by consecutively dominating the Hungarian Rally with a Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo.

“For Monza, I am speaking with several teams, underlines the person concerned on the official WRC website. Of course, I have good relations with Škoda, I did three rallies with the official team in 2017 and it would be good to work with them again.

I know it's difficult to be in a WRC for this rally, but I'm working to be able to race in WRC 2. That would be good. »

Andreas Mikkelsen's last appearance on a world round dates back to Great Britain 2019. Before a possible return to the WRC, Mikkelsen will logically aim for the leading roles on the roads of the Canary Islands Rally, which will be the scene of the ERC final in about ten days.
