The last ten French victories at the Tour de Corse in photos

French drivers have always shone on their favorite terrain: asphalt. Contested almost exclusively in the Tour de Corse, the French round of the World Rally Championship was dedicated to Jean-Pierre Nicolas and Jean-Claude Andruet from the early years, before seeing Bernard Darniche win in 1975 with the legendary Lancia Stratos.

Already a winner in 1970, Darniche would compile six successes on island roads until 1981, remaining the absolute record holder for victories until 1995, before Didier Auriol joined the former FIAT/Lancia resident on the list of winners.
