Loeb: “I’m tired of losing!” »

After an accident on the first day, you finished seventh and scored points in both championships. What assessment do you draw from this first experience in Poland?
“Scoring points was unexpected. That Latvala came out in the last special, we couldn't have expected it. This is good for the manufacturer rankings. For us, scoring these points allows us not to record a second consecutive draw. It's not a good result but, after the events of Friday, it's not so bad. »

What state of mind are you in after three difficult rallies from an accounting standpoint?
“Never two without three, that’s three rallies? We can only hope that things go better next time. Mikko did not make a mistake. He dominated and stayed in front until the finish. Scoring two points is unexpected. These will perhaps be two very valuable points at the end of the season. »

Le Rally of Finland is not necessarily a suitable ground for a revenge?
“It?s a very difficult rally. The Finns are formidable there and, today, the leader of the championship is Finnish. We managed to beat him last year by a few seconds. We will see this year if we can do as well. »

Will you have more pressure?
“Obviously, coming in second with one point behind is less comfortable than being twenty points ahead. We just burned two jokers. It's a new start, we have to rebuild everything. »

Is morale good?
“Yes, even if I would have preferred to do better rallies. I tell myself that I have five titles behind me and that luck has often been on my side during my career. That hasn't been the case in the last three races but, on a more general level, I have nothing to complain about. »

A small truce is looming. Is it a good time to take a vacation?
“We will go to Goodwood and then we will test in Finland. Then we will make a small cut. I would have preferred to go on vacation after a victory. I'm tired of losing at every rally, I might as well stop for a while! »

Have you got imagined not being titled at the end of October?
?It?s too far away and these are the kinds of questions I don?t usually ask myself. I take the rallies one after the other. If I'm not titled, I'm not titled. Mikko Hirvonen will have deserved his title. »
