Ogier: “The Tour de Corse is always a big challenge”

“I had already had good sensations with the Fiesta on the asphalt of Monte-Carlo (where it won), but this event offers a completely different surface which requires a slightly different approach, explained Sébastien Ogier. With the team, we were able to explore numerous settings with the shock absorbers and the central differential, which should allow us to aim for another good result. »

A hotly contested season

Sébastien Ogier is aware that the competition will be particularly keen after seeing three different winners during the first rallies of the 2017 season.

“We have seen some very close fights this year and I expect that to continue, warned Sébastien Ogier. We will do our best to be part of it with the objective of coming out on top. it won't be easy, but the Tour de Corse never is. If the route remains very similar to last year, this rally still represents a big challenge. »

Sébastien Ogier is 8 points ahead of his former teammate Jari-Matti Latvala after the first three events.
