Its front end offering new aerodynamics made noise last week. Seen during testing in Spain, scene of the next round of the World Rally Championship this weekend, the Citroën C3 indeed presented a large revision of its bow, in an aggressive style to say the least.
A development that we could have legitimately hoped for the Catalan round, but Citroën Racing did not submit these parts for approval as specified by the official website of the WRC.
New features which could nevertheless have been ideal for Sébastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia, whose world title hangs by a thread against Ott Tänak (Toyota) in a good position to win the cup for the first time in his career.
Ogier admitted, however, to having had an excellent feeling with his C3 in preparation tests for Spain, a car which has won on the roads around Salou for the last two years, in 2018 with Sébastien Loeb.
