Pontus Tidemand on several rounds with M-Sport

Pontus Tidemand takes a step forward by tackling the premier category of WRC. Le champion 2017 du WRC 2 participera aux deux premières épreuves de la saison 2019, avec le Monte-Carlo (24-27 janvier) et la Suède (14-17 février) avec une Ford Fiesta WRC de l’équipe M-Sport.

The 28-year-old Scandinavian has already played with Malcolm Wilson's team after driving a Ford in the Swedish Championship, JWRC and WRC 2. He was even able to get behind the wheel of a Fiesta WRC a few years previously.

“My previous experiences have been good. M-Sport is very professional, I know they will give me all the tools to perform at my best, he adds. I am also delighted to be back in a WRC, which was possible thanks to Malcolm and my partners. This has been a big goal of mine that I have been working on since the last rally of the season. »

M-Sport has yet to confirm its drivers for the 2019 season while Sébastien Ogier will join Citroën.
