Quentin Giordano tackles WRC2 with a Citroën DS3 R5

Quentin Giordano will participate in WRC2 by competing seven events at the wheel of a Citroën DS3 R5. The Frenchman, who will find his compatriot Stéphane Lefebvre, already knows his program in detail since he will be involved from the Rally Monte-Carlo (January 25), before going to Portugal (May 24), Sardinia (June 14), Poland (July 5), Germany (August 23), in France (October 4) and in Spain (October 25). Giordano is also expected to make some appearances on national rallies such as Lorraine and Vins Épernay.

If Quentin Giordano picked up fourth place in the JWRC at the wheel of the DS3 R3 this year, with three podiums achieved in Poland, Finland and Germany, he only recently took the wheel of the R5 version with which he will compete next year. Giordano was due to train for the Rallye du Var, but he preferred to cancel his entry given the difficult conditions. This event was therefore replaced by two days of testing at the beginning of the month and a test run on the circuit in Pouilly (Burgundy), still alongside Nicolas Bernardi, with whom he completed nearly 200km.
