Stéphane Lefebvre and Gabin Moreau injured

Stéphane Lefebvre and Gabin Moreau went off the road in the 12th km of Panzerplatte, tenth special of the Rally of Germany, 40km long. The accident quickly aroused concern since the marshals immediately interrupted the special and little information was available on the state of health of the crew.

ADAC confirmed that Stéphane Lefebvre and his co-driver were injured and that the medical team was on site.

According to information collected on site, the two competitors were evacuated by helicopter.

The pilot's Twitter account indicated that the crew was hospitalized while conscious. Stéphane Lefebvre does not suffer serious injuries but his co-driver has a broken leg, but the information has not been confirmed.

ADAC confirmed that the Lefebvre-Moreau crew suffered internal injuries and fractures. Doctors clarified that the competitors were not in critical condition but that they had to remain hospitalized for treatment. Gabin Moreau underwent surgery this afternoon for a fracture of his left ankle.
