Stéphane Lefebvre on the royal road?

On the roads of Rally from Germany, Stéphane Lefebvre won his third victory of the season after his victories in Portugal and Poland. This victory acquired after a duel with the German driver Christian Riedemann (9″4 separated the two competitors at the finish), allows the PH Sport driver now supported by Red Bull to count 29 points with two events remaining in the championship, and Stéphane Lefebvre will approach his home race with serenity.

“If there is one thing we are learning this season, it is that the rallies are very long and that you should not push as hard as you can in each special. By keeping the same pace while concentrating on not making any mistakes, we were able to take the lead of the event and never leave it. We knew it was important to manage our lead to achieve a third important victory for the championship. This is an excellent operation which will allow us to approach the end of the season with a little more serenity. » explains the 20-year-old pilot.

Martin Koci's blank result in Germany could allow the Frenchman to aim for the title in the next round of the Junior WRC during the Rallye de France – Alsace (October 3 – 5). Before that, he will be entered in the European Rally Championship ERC at the Barum Rally this weekend on a Peugeot 208 R2.
