Stéphane Sarrazin does not intend to make up the numbers at Monte-Carlo

Stéphane Sarrazin will make his return to the roads of the Rally Monte-Carlo. Le pilote, qui évoluait jusqu’à présent avec Toyota en Endurance, had competed in the event for the last time in 2011 in IRC with a Peugeot 207 S2000.

Troisième en 2009 avec Peugeot, le Français pilotera cette fois une Hyundai i20 R5 alignée par sa structure Sarrazin Motorsport. Si il n’est pas inscrit pour marquer des points en WRC-2, Stéphane Sarrazin intends to be at the forefront among the RC2 cars.

“I haven’t competed in this rally since 2011, but I will use my experience to aim for the best possible result, comments the Gardois. The race could depend on a choice of tires, but we hope to fight with the best R5s to play for victory in the RC2 class. »

Sarrazin Motorsport will also field a Skoda Fabia R5 for Quentin Giordano. An event which will also allow the team to prepare for the next events, in particular the WRC-2 program of Jari Huttunen, development driver of the Korean brand, who will compete in the Swedish Rally in February in the i20 R5.
