Adrien Fourmaux continues rallies with M-Sport and the Fiesta Rally2

While he ended the year with a big question mark regarding his future, Adrien fourmaux is one of the drivers who has driven the most since the start of the season. Knowing that he has three races ticked off on his calendar in the coming weeks, he has already competed in 6. Among them, he has 2 successes at the Jännerrallye in Austria and the Malcolm Wilson Rally. This marked the opening of the English championship, an important competition for the trainer based in Cumbria. Given the number of customers who drive Ford Fiestas (from the Rally2 to the Rally5) in the British Isles, it is necessary to show the qualities of the product. Playing as luxury sales reps, Fourmaux will be at the start on 2e meeting of the BRC (British Rally Championship) which will take place on May 26 and 27.

Run since the early 70s and appearing regularly on the calendar since 1999, this event has some famous names on its list (Roger Clark, Ari Vatanen, etc.). Based in Duns which is located in Scotland, 75 km south-east of Edinburgh, this rally is the first of three scheduled on asphalt during a season which offers 7.

Winner on gravel during the opening round, Fourmaux will perhaps have more to work on on the special stages which he will have to discover against Keith Cronin in particular. The four-time English champion has already won twice at the Jim Clark.

The event takes place over two days with a total of 107,64 km timed and 8 ES. Two are planned for Friday the 26th at night and a loop of three will make up the Saturday.

Once he has completed this rally, Adrien Fourmaux will hurry to Sardinia to begin reconnaissance there from Tuesday May 30. Once the Italian participation is completed, he will have a few days before being at the start of the Ypres rally (June 22-24) in Belgium which counts for the local championship, but also the BRC. The Frenchman will then have competed in 9 races in 6 months.
