WRC – The entry list for Rally Sweden

For the Rally from Sweden, the plateau WRC is expanding. They are 13 to be entered for Monte-Carlo, which begins next week, there will be 20 of them for the Swedish event. Sebastian Loeb will still be there, Sweden being one of the four rallies that the nine-time world champion has decided to run this season. Last year's winner, Jari-Matti Latvala, will race on a Volkswagen, just like Sébastien Ogier.

Among the new entries, and as previously announced, Pontus Tidemand will be present at the wheel of a Ford Fiesta RS WRC prepared by M-Sport. The Swede will ride alongside Ola Floene, his new co-driver. Eyvind Brynildsen will also be there, driving a Ford Fiesta WRC from the Adapta World Rally Team. Khalid Al Qassimi and his co-driver Scott Martin will be entered by Citroën. Currently fighting for victory on the Dakar, Nasser Al-Attiyah will make his WRC debut this season, aboard his Ford Fiesta prepared by Qatar WRT, while Jarkko Nikara and Michal Kosciuszko will drive Minis.

Also note the presence of Benito Guerra, the reigning PWRC champion, who will drive a Citroën DS3 WRC for the occasion, and the return of Henning Solberg aboard a Ford Fiesta. Bad news, however, from Prodrive. The British team, absent from Monte-Carlo, hoped to return from the Swedish event and this for the rest of the season. Their name does not appear in the entry list.
