WRC – Quentin Gilbert taking part in the Drive Dmack Fiesta Trophy

Quentin Gilbert will experience an intense season in the lower categories of the WRC.

This will not be Quentin Gilbert's only commitment since the Frenchman will also play on a Fiesta R5 on several rounds of WRC2, its first event being scheduled for the Rally of Mexico held from March 6 to 9. The French driver will be able to aim for a full season in the second category of the WRC since this will be the reward offered to the winner. “We chose the Drive Dmack Fiesta Trophy because the costs are low. The mix of events is really good with fast dirt courses or hard asphalt events. The selected competitors should form an excellent level and it will be interesting to confront myself with other young drivers. Last season, I learned to manage world rallies at the wheel of a two-wheel drive, so I think I can play the leading roles. My goal will be to win the title, rewarded with a program of seven Fiesta R5 rallies for 2015." The Drive Dmack Fiesta Trophy will begin on April 3 in Portugal.

In addition to his participation in the Drive Dmack Fiesta Trophy, Quentin Gilbert will also be at the wheel of a Citroën C4 WRC in the Rally du Touquet played on March 14 and 15. This will be his first outing behind the wheel of a WRC. “It’s a fantastic opportunity that Armando Pereira, who owns the car, is offering me. The C4 is a legendary model and I can't wait to drive it for the first time. I have already been to adjust my driving position in the Wagner Méca team workshops and I was impressed by the quality of their installations. This participation will give me an additional opportunity to gain experience. »
