Alex Quinn (Arden) dominated the fifty minutes of free practice 1 of the first meeting in the history of Formula Regionale by Alpine, this Friday morning, in Imola. The Briton, best rookie in Formula Renault last year, actually achieved the best time of the morning session (1'38"740), ahead of Paul Aron (Prema/+0"042) and his teammate William Alatalo (Arden/+0"205).
On the French side, Hadrien David (R-ace GP) finished 9th, half a second behind, while his compatriot Isack Hadjar (R-ace GP) was in 20th place, one second behind the reference time. Alexandre Bardinon is 25th (FA Racing). For an as yet unknown reason, neither Franco Colapinto (MP Motorsport) nor Thomas Ten Brinke (ART Grand Prix) set a time.
