While the 908 HDi FAP n°7 and n°8 of the official team had stopped in their pit, the 908 of the Pescarolo team hit the n°7 of Pedro Lamy by folding too early! Stands Peugeot and Pescarolo are actually side by side. Pedro Lamy left before his left rear tire was torn to shreds. He had to drive slowly before returning to his stand to repair, a stoppage which promises to be a long one. The Pescarolo-Peugeot left after changing its face.
