After getting on the podium at the 12 Hours of Sebring behind the two untouchables Peugeot 908, the official team Aston Martin continues its preparation for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The car will be at the start of the 8 Hours of Le Castellet this weekend, the first round of the 2010 Le Mans Series, and will be entrusted to Harold Primat, Stefan Mücke and Adrian Fernandez.

“The reliability of the car at Sebring is a very positive point, declares Harold Primat. We didn't have the slightest technical problem, which is remarkable in such a tough race for mechanics and confirms the work accomplished by the whole team. We arrive at Paul Ricard with the same approach. The race lasts eight hours and reliability will be a key point for the final result. After the performance of the car and the team at Sebring, I think we are in a good position. Our goal is to continue working on the reliability and performance of the car and tires in preparation for the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June. The level of performance of the teams in the Le Mans Series has increased again this year but our objective is to be the best petrol car. We took part in the official tests of the LMS at Paul Ricard at the beginning of April, this allows us to have good basic settings. »
