It was the Gavin Cronje – Nico Verdonck crew from the DAMS team who won the Formula race Le Mans, on the sidelines of the 24 Hours. This 12-lap race allows gentlemen drivers or professional drivers to race on this legendary circuit, in single-seaters developed by Oreca. The DAMS duo beat the two Hole Pole Vision Racing crews: Valle Makela – Mathias Beche and Natacha Gachnang – Christophe Pillon. Vincent Capillaire and Fabien Rosier, former winners of the ACO steering wheel (and registered as such), ranked fourth.
