Audi V6 with SREC in 2011?

While the ACO has not significantly changed the regulations governing 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Le Mans series for 2010, the year 2011 should mark a major turning point in this area. While awaiting the publication of the 2011 technical regulations, Audi is considering, according to Racing Engineering Magazine, the development of an LMP1 prototype powered by a V6 twin-turbo diesel and equipped with a kinetic energy recovery system, in order to prepare the succession to the Audi R15 TDI. The 2011 season should, in any case, present many new features due to a change in regulations which promises to be significant.
