Already leader during part of the first day of the Rally from New Zealand, Sébastien Ogier returns to the top of the general classification upon the arrival of the first special on Saturday (time difference required).

The Citroën Junior Team driver achieves the second performance in New Franklin 1 behind Sébastien Loeb and passes Latvala and Solberg in the general classification. Poor performances from Dani Sordo (+16??8) and Mikko Hirvonen (+24??7) this morning.

Sébastien Loeb took advantage of this best time to take sixth place in the general classification ahead of Matthew Wilson. Mikko Hirvonen, 34??9 ahead of him, is his next target.
