The Frenchman, author of the best time in the first special of the second loop, moved up from fifth to second place, 8??1 behind Sébastien Ogier (Citroen C4 WRC). Petter Solberg (Citroën C4 WRC) is third at 9??3, ahead of Dani Sordo (Citroën C4 WRC, + 16??3). Mikko Hirvonen (Ford Focus WRC) is pushed back to fifth place, at 17??7. Kimi Räikkönen (Citroën C4 WRC) is still sixth, with a lead that is growing over Federico Villagra (Ford Focus WRC) and Matthew Wilson (Ford Focus WRC).
