After the start of SS6, Marcus Grönholm (Ford Focus) stopped after passing the first intermediate due to an electrical problem. The Finn previously occupied sixth place in the general classification of the Rally from Sweden.
After restarting, the double world champion passed more than ten minutes behind Sébastien's time Loeb to the second intermediary.
