Ferrari decided to donate one million euros to Ukrainians affected by the war led by Russia. The Italian manufacturer will send this donation through the Red Cross and the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) in order to support humanitarian projects in Ukraine as well as local initiatives in Emilia-Romagna linked to the reception of refugees from this country.
In addition, a sum will be donated to the Chernobyl Association of Maranello, Fiorano and Formigine to help Ukrainians in need in this region of Italy.
Additionally, given the current situation, Ferrari has made the decision to suspend the production of vehicles for the Russian market until further notice.
“Ferrari stands with everyone in Ukraine affected by this ongoing humanitarian crisis, said Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna. “While we hope for a rapid return to dialogue and a peaceful solution, we cannot remain indifferent to the suffering of all those involved. Our thoughts and support go out to them. We are playing our small role alongside the institutions that are providing immediate relief to this situation.
