Latvala with dust

This start of the third and final day of Rally of Sardinia is marked by the presence of a lot of dust in the special stages. Apart from Latvala, first on the road, the following had to slow down to gain visibility. The dust and the sun, still low in the sky, making it difficult to see properly.

First on the road, Jari-Matti Latvala took the opportunity to widen the gap on his teammate Mikko Hirvonen, who started behind him, taking 18??6 in 19 kilometers. Sebastian Loeb gives up 40??6 but is ahead of Petter Solberg by 2??1 to come back to 0??1 from third place for the Norwegian.

Dani Sordo, eighth this morning, is reported arrested.
