After a race which ended in the wall at the Tertre Rouge bend last year, after being hit by a Lola-Aston Martin, Patrice Goueslard is aiming for victory in the GT1 category this year at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This year he will be at the wheel of a Corvette C6.R entered by Luc Alphand Aventures. A car, bearing the number 73, which he will share with his compatriot Julien Jousse and the Dutchman Xavier Maassen.
“I erased from my memory the 2009 edition where an unconscious English driver threw me into the wall of tires at 177 km/h, causing us to abandon” declared the French pilot.
Even if this season the GT1 category will not welcome any official teams, it will be necessary to overcome Ford GT, Saleen S7-R and other Lamborghinis.
