Sébastien Loeb is getting closer and closer to participation in 24 Hours of Le Mans. Eight days ago, Olivier Quesnel, boss of Citroën Racing and Peugeot Sport, confided that this decision only depended on the choice of the six-time world champion, due to an overloaded program (see elsewhere). This weekend, in Sweden, Sébastien Loeb declared that he had not yet made his decision.

« It?s possible but it?s not done, he confirmed. We'll see next Monday (when the Peugeot drivers are made official, editor's note). There will be no more tests until then so we will have to make a decision. But it’s clear that it takes up a lot of time in the planning. With the development of the new car (DS3 WRC, editor's note), the C4 in progress, the rallies? That's a lot to do. There is no reason why this cannot be done. If I go there with Peugeot, I don't think Peugeot is going there for fun. If I do it, it will be serious, it will require investment, time. This is why we must think carefully about the question. »
