The Frenchman set the best time in the fifth special of rally from Italy, to Sardinia. The Citroën driver is ahead of his teammate Dani Sordo (1??0), leader Jari-Matti Latvala (1??2) and Mikko Hirvonen (4??6). In the general classification, Sébastien Loeb, still second, is 17??2 behind the Finnish leader and ahead of Hirvonen by 5??3.
