While participating last Sunday in an Enduro event “La Rand'Auvergne” in Puy de Dôme, Luc Alphand suffered a bad fall when landing a jump in the last special stage. Complaining about his back, the former winner of the 1997 Ski World Cup underwent examinations which revealed affected vertebrae. This morning, Luc Alphand underwent a bone graft at Clermont-Ferrand hospital. A post-operative press release will be issued at the end of the day.
