In the city of country music, the championship runner-up, Pato O'Ward (McLaren SP), did not play as fair as usual, hitting the wall at the start of the session. With a broken suspension in particular, the mechanics will have work on its No. 5 between now and the second practice session which will begin Saturday at 19 p.m. (HF).

Qualifying will take place immediately, while the grid will start at midnight on Sunday.
