Sébastien Ogier (Citroen C4 WRC), second of Rally from Mexico at the end of the first day of competition, starting Saturday's specials in second position, behind Petter Solberg (Citroën C4 WRC). As a result, the young Frenchman suffered more than the day before from the “sweep”, a phenomenon affecting the drivers taking the road first, due to the layer of dust to be chased away.
However, the Citroën Junior Team driver was able to achieve a decent performance in SS10, setting the fourth fastest time. “ A good stage for us, but it?s true that it?s very slippery, comments the Frenchman. We don't take risks, we try to drive cleanly. It?s not easy to be in second position on the road but it?s part of our learning. »
