Heikki Kovalainen will not take part in the Artic Rally at the end of January in Finland. A few weeks ago, the hypothesis that the new Lotus F1 driver would participate in this rally had been issued. The Finn could have entered a Proton Satria Neo S2000, the Malaysian manufacturer being the majority shareholder of Lotus Cars, a brand which refers to Heikki Kovalainen's new team. But, in full preparation for his season of Formula 1 with his new team, the former driver McLaren thinks he doesn't have time to seriously prepare for the Arctic Rally.
