18-year-old Russian Evgeny Novikov sets his first best time in the World Rally Championship. The Citroën Junior Team driver is ahead of Jari-Matti Latvala and Dani Sordo at the finish of Bauxites (SS4).
In the general classification, Novikov moved up two places to fourth behind Latvala, Sordo and Hirvonen and ahead of Sébastien Loeb.
Sébastien Ogier gives up around thirty seconds with a puncture.
