To best prepare for the end of the season, Petter Solberg took part in a test session behind the wheel of a Citroën C4 WRC, Tuesday on a “land” base near Narbonne. The Norwegian, who is competing in the 2009 season on a private Xsara in 2006 configuration, indicated a few weeks ago that he would skip Australia in order to concentrate on the last two rounds of the year in Catalonia and Grande Brittany. If he had expressed the idea of driving a Ford Focus for the end of the season, the test at the wheel of a Citroën C4 WRC could offer him other perspectives.
