After a double from Latvala and Hirvonen in the first special, Dani Sordo set the best time in Thiva (SS2). The Citroën driver is ahead of Jari-Matti Latvala and Mikko Hirvonen.
In the general classification, Jari-Matti Latvala is ahead of Dani Sordo, Mikko Hirvonen, Mads Ostberg and Sébastien Loeb.
Matthew Wilson stopped in the stage with a mechanical problem. Petter Solberg was also slowed down but was able to finish the time of 23,76 kilometers 44??8 behind.
