Jari-Matti Latvala (Ford Focus WRC), ideally placed in sixth position of the Rally from Turkey, made a mistake on the first special stage of the second day of competition, rolling over after a kilometer of asphalt course. The Finn leaves Mikko Hirvonen as the only Ford driver among the top five in the general classification, facing the armada of Citroën C4 WRCs. However, he managed to reach the finish line, nine minutes behind the best.
