Al-Attiyah and Baumel off to a good start in the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge
Pour l’une de leurs dernières sorties avec le Toyota Hilux 4×4 d’ancienne génération, Nasser Al-Attiyah et Mathieu Baumel impriment un tempo très élevé à l’Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge. Le duo du Toyota Gazoo Racing a remporté les deux premières étapes, disputées dimanche 7 et lundi 8 novembre sur des spéciales longues de 265 et 318 km.

The Qatari driver and his French navigator have completely doubled their lead over their direct pursuers, the Pole Jakub Przygonski and the German Timo Gottschalk (Mini JCW Buggy). Seen as the number 1 outsiders, Yazeed Al-Rajhi and Michael Orr fell back in the dunes of the Middle East (+17′ on stage 2).
