45 cars, 41 motorcycles and 5 Open: this will be the table for the next one Rally of Andalusia (October 18 – 23), last round of the Rally-Raid world championship. The Spanish test, initially planned for May and postponed until this fall, will see the outcome of this first season of W2RC. 

At the level of the FIA ​​championship, we find the two big favorites of the event and the championship, Nasser Al-Attiyah (Toyota) and Sébastien Loeb (Prodrive). The two men are separated by 22 points before the start of the Andalusia Rally. Guerlain Chicherit (Prodrive), winner of the last round at the Rallye du Maroc, will also be there, as will Yazeed Al Rajhi (Toyota) and Jakub Przygonski (Mini). On the other hand, the Audis will not be there: thus, Stéphane Peterhansel will participate in the event in the Open category, with an SSV Yamaha.

On the motorcycle side, Sam Sunderland (KTM – GasGas) has the opportunity to win the title in Spain. Leader of the championship with 22 points ahead of Pablo Quintanilla (Honda), the Briton could win his second title after that of 2. Sixth in the championship, Adrien Van Beveren (Yamaha) will also be at the start of the Andalusia Rally. The Northerner remains in 2019th place during the Rallye du Maroc.
