The Iron Dames present at Goodwood with the Ferrari 488 GTE

The Iron Dames will be present at the Goodwood Festival of Speed ​​from June 23 to 26. The team made up of their trio of drivers Sarah Bovy, Michelle Gatting, and Rahel Frey will make an appearance across the Channel with their Ferrari 488 GTE, just crowned with a 7th place in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the GTE AM category.

« This is going to be a memorable experience for all the teams and especially the Iron Dames, since it is the first time they have taken part in an event of this kind. The goal is not really to ride and be the fastest up the hill but more to share our mutual love and passion for car racing », explains Andrea Piccini, the team principal of the team. 

With their presence, the Iron Dames also intend to convey a message around the inclusion of women in motorsport. Even if there is no performance objective, this race at Goodwood will serve as " of training » before diving back into the world endurance championship in Belgium. As a reminder, Doriane Pin will complete the ranks of the Iron Dames at the 24 Hours of Spa, July 30 and 31.
