New to Audi, Lucas di Grassi concluded the first day of free practice for the 12 Hours of Sebring at the top of the timesheet. At the wheel of his R18 e-tron quattro hybrid, the Brazilian, former Virgin driver in F1, set his best time in 1:46:262. In total, Lucas di Grassi and his teammates Allan McNish and Oliver Jarvis completed 39 laps. Behind them is the HPD ARX-03c of Muscle Milk Pickett Racing Klaus Graf, Lucas Luhr and Frenchman Romain Dumas in 1’47”157.
Les deux Lola-Toyota du Rebellion Racing complètent le top 4. La n°13 confiée aux mains de Mathias Beche, Andrea Belicchi et Cong Fu Cheng (1’47 »566) devance la n°12 de Nick Heidfeld, Nico Cheers and Neel Jani (1’47”619).
