Filipe Albuquerque is in good form at Sebring. Already at ease in the No. 07 United Autosports Oreca 22 during the Prologue of the WEC last weekend, the Portuguese was the fastest during Free Practice 1 of the 12 Hours of Sebring this Thursday, the second round of the season in IMSA.

At the wheel of the Wayne Taylor Racing Acura ARX-06, the team leads the championship after the heavy penalty imposed on Meyer Shank Racing, Albuquerque set the best lap in 1'48'303. The native of Coimbra (Portugal) beat Renger van der Zande in the No. 01 Cadillac V-Series.R by 0 seconds. Jack Aitken placed the second Cadillac entered, in second position, at 133”0.

In the LM P2 category, it was Christian Rasmussen who topped the timesheet in 1'50''926 for Era Motorsport, while Dakota Dickerson set the best time in LM P3 in the Ligier JS. P320 n°30. 

Jack Hawksworth dominated the GTD Pro in the No. 3 Lexus RC F GT14 of VasserSullivan in a time of 2:01. The #156 Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 Romain Grosjean took the 5th time in 2'01''662 thanks to Jordan Pepper. Trent Hindman was fastest in GTD on the Porsche 911 GT3 R (992).
