Several teams are still in the race for victory at the 24 Hours of Daytona (Florida) after 17 hours of racing. The #90 Corvette DP of Ricky Taylor is now in the lead, ahead of the #2 Ligier JS P2 ESM of Luis Felipe Derani which has not yet stopped. The LMP2 took the lead over the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Corvette DP. The No. 5 Action Express Racing car of Christian Fittipaldi is also on the leader's lap.
