Thanks to the cessation of the Multimatic-Riley Mk.30 Gibson n°90 of René Rast's VisitFlorida Racing, Jordan Taylor (Cadillac DPi-V.R n°10 – Wayne Taylor Racing) took back the lead of the 24 Hours of Daytona (Florida) at the start of the fifteenth hour.
After a long neutralization under Full Course Yellow due to rain, the officials restarted the event, again quickly neutralized after contact with the wall of the road. Mercedes-AMG GT3 n°50 from WeatherTech Racing.
At the restart, Rast held off Jordan Taylor before stopping and handing over control of the race to the No. 10 Cadillac DPi-V.R. Filipe Albuquerque maintains the No. 5 Action Express Racing Cadillac DPi-V.R in third place.
In GTLM, the Porsche 911 RSR n°912 de Kévin Estre reste aux avant-postes de la catégorie et précède de 16″ la seconde 911 RSR n°911 de Dirk Werner. La Ferrari 488 n°62 of James Calado is in third place at 21″, ahead of the Ford GT n°69 and n°66 of Tincknell and Müller.
No changes in PC, since the Oreca FLM09 n°38 of Performance Tech Motorsports remains firmly placed at the head of the category. The race has just been neutralized again at 10:46 a.m., after the No. 09 Oreca FLM26 stopped at the side of the track.
