The association between the ACO and theIMSA continues on the track. A few months after the inauguration of the chicane Le Mans, formerly known as the “Bus Stop” at Daytona, it is the turn of the Sarthe circuit to see one of its chicanes renamed.
Named in the past "PlayStation" or even "Forza Motorsport", the first chicane of the Hunaudières will now bear the name of the famous Florida track, Daytona, further supporting the collaboration between the ACO and the IMSA, the convergence of which will allow the LMDh to engage in WEC as in IMSA.
«Very happy to have inaugurated the Daytona chicane to build the common future of endurance! »wrote Pierre Fillon, president of the ACO, on Twitter accompanied by a photo where we can see the chicane bearing the name of the American circuit.
We are stronger together! For the future of the #endurance.
