Crowned champion at Spa-Francorchamps, the WRT team (Déletraz, Kubica, Ye) dominated Free Practice 1 of the 4 Hours of Portimão with a best time of 1:32.305 ahead of the number 26 G-Drive (Rusinov, Colapinto, de Vries) at 0.135 and the French team IDEC Sport (Lafargue, Chatin, Pilet).
In LM P3, the best time went to the Ligier JS p320 – Nissan number 13 of Inter Europol Competition (Hippe, de Wilde, Eteki) in 1:37.260 ahead of DKR Engineering number 4 (Hörr, de Barbuat) in 1:37.692 and United Autosports number 2 (Boyd, Wheldon, Cauhaupe) 1:37.706.
Enfin, Proton Competition a signé un doublé en GTE avec la Porsche 911 RSR – 19 numéro 93 du trio Fassbender, Laser, Lietz (1:40.315) devant la 77 de Ried, MacNeil, Bruni (1:40.808) et l’Aston Martin Vantage AMR number 95 from TF Sport (1:40.899) with Hartshorne, Gunn and Hancock.
