After Porsche, l’écurie Alex Job Racing renouera sa relation avec Audi Sport en alignant en 2017 une Audi R8 LMS GT3 en catégorie GTD dans les courses de North American Endurance Cup in IMSA Sportscar Championship.
The team will trust the trio Bill Sweedler, Townsend Bell and Frankie Montecalvo. The first two know each other well, having notably won this year the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the GTE Am category with the Ferrari 458 Italia of Team Corsa.
For the 24 Hours of Daytona in Florida (January 28-29), the trio will be joined by Pierre Kaffer. Alex Job Racing will aim for a third category victory on the double clock after 1999 and 2013.
