The Ligier JS P2 from the Algarve Pro Racing team stood out during the first free practice session of the 3 Hours of Sepang in Malaysia, second round of the Asian Le Mans Series 2015-2016. The trio Michael Munemann – Dean Koutsoumidis – Jamie Winslow rose to the top of the timesheet with a reference time established in 1’59”248.
The little sister JS P3 of David Cheng Racing by David Cheng – Ho-Pin Tung – Thomas Laurent once again dominated the LM P3 by slotting into third position in the standings between the Oreca 03R LM P2s of Race Performance of Shinji Nakano – Nicolas Leutwiler and that of Eurasia Motorsport of Williams Lok – Tack Sung Kim – Richard Bradley.
In GT, Team AAI dominated the session with the BMW Z4 GT3 of Junsan Chen – Ollie Millroy – Dirk Muller, while in CN, the Avelon Formula Wolf GB08 of Denis Lian and Giorgio Maggi set the best time.
